On November 17th at 7:30 p.m. in Wheeler Hall at the Ware Center, don’t miss Randy Armstrong and Venezualan percussionist, Jose Duque, transform and uplift people from all walks of life with their music. Their music draws from sources as diverse as mainstream American jazz, Native American flute playing, West African drumming and North Indian sitar motifs – all blended by the ingenious combination of acoustic, high-tech, synthesized technology. Come see a vibrant performance of original fusion music played on a spectacular array of instruments from around the world! Free admission.

Since 1907, WNTK Talk Radio FM 99.7 has been serving the New London area. The station offers a regular schedule of talk radio hosts including: Barry Armstrong with “Money Matters”; Glenn Beck from 10-noon; Rush Limbaugh from noon-3:00; and Howie Carr from 3:00-6:00. WNTK also serves as a great resource to the community in weather and other emergencies. There are regularly scheduled interviews with local business people and community leaders, offering an insight into the community. Also on their web site, they offer seasonally appropriate information, including snow reports for avid skiers, as well as the daily weather reports. WNTK is a valuable community resource.
